Overview
The comprehensive drum test bench is used for vehicle overall braking force, acceleration performance, vehicle overall testing, sound level testing, and speedometer testing.
The MDT-2500 series multi-functional comprehensive drum test bench is a special equipment for dynamic driving testing, parameter setting testing and electronic control device testing of front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicles with an axle load of less than 2500kg when they roll off the production line in the manufacturing plant.
Main Functions
1. Static Braking Force Test: Meet the static braking force test requirements specified in GB7258, including maximum braking force, left-right braking force difference, left-right braking force sum, drag force, pedal force, and parking braking force.
2. Dynamic Braking Force Test: High-speed "dynamic" braking test (measuring dv/dt) with fixed rotating mass.
3. ABS/ESP Test: ① Parallel or continuous static ABS test; ② Dynamic ABS/ESP test.
4. Speedometer Test
5. Acceleration Performance Test
6. 4*4 Gear Ratio Test: Four-wheel drive front and rear axle speed difference test: display of front and rear axle speed difference under specified working conditions.
7. Reverse Test
8. Speed Control and Cruise Test (random inspection item)
9. Automatic Transmission Test and Diagnosis (random inspection item)
10. Engine Management System Test and Diagnosis (random inspection item)
11. Test Bench Rotation System Test
12. OBD System Detection
13. Test Bench Upgrade Capability: The test bench can be upgraded to adapt to other advanced drive/brake assist systems (such as electronic control braking) in the future, or the diagnosis and testing of various ABS/ESC, ASR, and ESP from different models or manufacturers.

Measurement Range and Accuracy
1. Driving and Parking Braking Force Measurement: Measurement range: not less than 5000N (optional); Accuracy: ±1.0% full scale;
2. Speed Measurement: Measurement range: not less than 160 km/h; Accuracy: ±0.1% full scale;
3. Pedal Force Measurement: Measurement range: 0~800N; Accuracy: ±1.0% full scale;
4. Parking Brake Operating Force Measurement: Measurement range: 0~500N; Accuracy: ±1.0% full scale;
Structure and Principle
The test bench mainly includes 4 sets of drum groups to support the wheels. Each set of drum groups is connected to a vector-controlled AC motor. The motor is controlled by a frequency converter and works independently in drive motor or generator mode. The AC vector motor can realize electronic control clutch, braking and acceleration of each set of drum groups. During the test, the AC motor drives the drum groups to drive the vehicle, or can be driven by the vehicle to generate electricity. The generated electric energy is transmitted to the motor at the non-driving axle, and the remaining electric energy is fed back to the user's factory power grid, which is energy-saving and does not affect the normal operation of the factory power grid.
Electronic Control Part
It adopts Siemens S7-1500 series PLC, equipped with industrial IPC for equipment data processing and networking, and uses Windows 10 operating system.
Configured with wireless ECU communication diagnostic instrument: used for diagnosis and testing with vehicle ECU, and the ECU communication interface of all vehicle models is OBDII and the same.
